Hello! Friday Morning

It’s Friday morning, time for the fantastic mental health drop in at The Cornerstones in Dalton Square, Lancaster. The clock ticks to 10.00am, i’m ready for another great time!

It’s spontaneous, no agenda, no plan. A time for a social gathering, a time for making new friends, a time for first class chat. You’d better bring an umbrella because it rains banter, chuckles and fun; careful, you’ll be drenched in glee. Our group stays until midday, by that time it’s safe to say our sides are aching with laughter.

After the morning session, I attend the Service Users’ Meeting which commences at 12.30pm. It’s an informal meeting with ‘Fun’ being on the agenda. Of course ‘Fun’ isn’t literally on the meeting’s agenda, but it might as well be. We have some cracking discussions and have been known to play word games, which certainly stretches our minds.
